While this book describes only the healings of Jesus that are specifically mentioned in the four gospels, we know that there were many others, for we must remember the words written by the Apostle John from his gospel account:
 

Within the pages of this book, an asterisk (*) indicates a personal testimony of those whom the Lord healed. That simply means that enough detailed information is available about this particular case that a testimony of the healing or deliverance has been created. Of the twenty-eight individual cases of healing, there are nineteen such personal testimonies. Of the nineteen, fifteen times faith was involved directly or indirectly. At the end of each healing account is a number in parentheses, such as (1-1) or (2-25). The first numeral indicates the number of individuals healed in this particular account; the second numeral represents the running total as one reads through all of the various accounts of' healings ministered by Jesus.
